I love sweets! Who doesn’t? The appropriate dose of sugar gives us energy and improves mood. However, the question is, how to eat sweets so that they don’t make us growing fat? Seems impossible, right? But it’s not that impossible as it may seem at the first sight. The answer to this very important question Italians know for a very long time. If you feel like eating something sweet eat it in the morning. Thanks to this you will get a quick boost of energy that you can use. Also, you have a great chance that you will completely burn these extra calories during the day.
An additional reason why today I decided to share with you a recipe for delicious home-made pancakes is my mission, which I took with the new year. Namely, not to skip breakfast in the morning. Well, unfortunately in recent years, not to say that almost every day, I forgot about breakfast. Yes, I know that it’s one of the biggest sins to my health. Breakfast is after all one of the most important meals during the day. It is thanks to him that we have the energy for proper functioning!
What was the reason that I skipped breakfast? Simply in the morning, I didn’t have time to prepare it, and the basic sandwiches are boring and tasteless to me. I always thought that to eat a nice breakfast you need to spend a lot of time or a lot of money. That’s why I decided to change it. I started to look for some inspiration, what tasty breakfast can be prepared in a short time, in no more than 15 minutes. And finally, I found one.
Today I will share with you a recipe for a quick and delicious breakfast in 15 minutes with ingredients that probably each of you has at home. Are you ready?
Delicious home-made pancakes – breakfast in only 15 minutes!
ingredients for approx. 9 pancakes:
- 1 glass of any flour,
- 1 egg,
- 3/4 glass of milk,
- 40 g of melted butter,
- 1,5 teaspoon of baking powder,
- 30 g of castor sugar (if you don’t have it you may use normal sugar as well),
- pinch of salt.
directions:

Melt butter in a small saucepan. In the meantime, whisk the egg and milk in a bowl and add the rest of the dry products inside. Then pour the melted butter into the bowl and mix everything together. Put the dough prepared in such a way with help of a big spoon into a frying pan with hot oil and fry for about 1 minute on each side.
That’s it! They taste best when poured with honey or sprinkled with cocoa. You can as well eat them without anything or smear them with your favourite jam. Bon appetite!
